    Located in Singapore, you will be responsible to sell Black Box’s Data Services portfolio into target vertical market segments or a specific geography.

     

    This position reports to the Sales Director for the APAC region.

    Responsibilities

    • Work towards achieving mutually agreed upon business goals that will be measured on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
    • Maintain accurate, timely forecasts, account and deal plans and monthly business reports on your target customers.
    • Make customer visits and provide sales presentations, selling a board portfolio of products and services across a wide range of industries.
    • Deepen our relationship and business with our existing customer base.
    • Find and develop new customer relationships through effective networking, prospecting and consultative sales strategies.
    • Identify customer needs and effectively illustrate the need to understand and overcome customer objections.
    • Develop a go-to-market strategy and the business plan for the assigned client group/territory.
    • Analyse the target markets and industries with an emphasis on trends and competitor’s activities.
    • Work closely with the Sales Director to develop the business in Singapore and ASEAN region.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a successful track record as a sales professional in the data communications and/or information technology fields.
    • Have established relationships with potential customers and business partners in Singapore and the ASEAN region.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and good communication skills. Strong team player with the ability to work successfully in a multicultural organization.
    • Strong prospecting and hunting capabilities, persistence and tenacity in developing prospects and customers, and ability to deal with prospects at all levels.
    • Strong presentation, analytical, negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills.
    • Results-oriented.
    • Ability to understand technical features/functionality of your customer’s requirements.
    • Familiarity with a Sales Management System (Salesforce preferred) & the ability to manage the sales cycle.
