    Located in ASIA you are responsible to create, develop and maintain an indirect Distribution Network for our line of products as well as growing our market share in high performance IP, Non IP and Cloud based KVM solutions in Japan.

     

    You have a team of sales and sales support people directly reporting to you.  You are working closely with the APAC TSC Manager and a team of high qualified technical experts.  (TSC=Technical Support Centre Manager)

    This position reports to the VP of International Sales.


     

    Responsibilities

    • Define, implement and execute a Go-to-market strategy in Japan.
    • Identify potential Channel Partners/Distributors, Value added resellers, qualify, recruit & manage them.
    • Implement a given Channel strategy and policy, competency   mapping including compliance & Performance Metrics and specific incentive programs to further grow our connect business
    • Quota carrying and responsible for a geo, vertical or key account.
    • Further develop and grow our project and solution business (Pro business) in control room and conf/class room ecosystems across multiple industries and verticals.
    • Understand customer requirements and trends in Control/Conf Classroom environment across the region.  Share with peers and PL.  Turn/articulate  features and functionalities of our portfolio into a value proposition towards the customer base.
    • Proper, disciplined and accurate forecast planning on a monthly base.
    • Achieve and exceed Order Target
    • Proactive funnel management within designated territory, using Salesforce and other applications. 

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 10 years of experience and a track record in Sales.
    • Experience working through channel partners or System Integrators is an advantage
    • Excellent interpersonal skills including, team working skills and good communication skills. Strong team player with the ability to work successfully in a multicultural organization
    • Persistence and tenacity in developing prospects and customers, and able to close business. Strong hunting capabilities and ability to deal with entrepreneurs / Company Owners.
    • Strong presentation, analytical, negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills. Result oriented.
    • Ability to resolve conflicts
    • Good business acumen and organizational skills.
    • Self-starter able to manage time and organize / prioritize workload
    • Ability to translate technical product information into strong customer value propositions
    • Strong team player with the ability to work successfully in a multicultural organization
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English in addition to other local languages
    • Ability and willingness to travel (>50% within the country)
    • Hunter mentality
    • Strategic Selling Skills as well as Key Account Management Skills (Miller Heimann/Spin selling methodology etc beneficial )
    • Experience of managing US$250k + deals
